This was an incredibly informative and superbly organized event to introduce to and discuss with young athletes. We had the honour of , , and Rick Rypien’s brother, Wes Rypien as speakers. They kindly took questions and shared their experiences. We watched the morning skate, played games to help the kids connect and heard some other speakers ( ) share their experiences and opportunities.
Thank you to everyone involved who made the event possible and thank you to our young athletes who showed up and proudly represented NVMHA.

What a wild ride! TBH not the easiest gig but made to be a phenomenal and very comfortable experience by all involved - the make up team, the stunt team, the cast and crew, the producers and directors. This incredible woman, mother and all around amazing human I get to call my wife celebrated her 50th birthday today! She has accomplished unbelievable things in this first 50 and still look likes she’s in her late 30s. Can’t wait to see what the next half century might bring!
