📣 EXCITING (but bittersweet) NEWS!

Our amazing colleague and friend, Cheryl Ng, is leaving UBC for an exciting new role! Many of you know Cheryl as the Project Lead of Cool ‘Hood Champs and Instructor for the Climate Action and Community Engagement Micro-Certificate. She's been working hard since 2019 on scaling up neighbourhood-based climate action programs across Vancouver and Canada, and has loved every moment of her interactions and partnerships with all of you!

Starting May 1st, Cheryl will be the Planning Engagement Coordinator at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, but as we like to say here, "once a CALPie, always a CALPie!" Cheryl will still be in Vancouver and reachable through LinkedIn (LinkedIn.com/in/cherylngg). So, don’t hesitate to connect or reach out to her! She would love to stay in touch with you and hear all about your exciting projects! 😊
