As a UBC association that includes many international students as members this is important news: UBC has decided to increase International Tuition by 10% and Residence fees by 20%.
We encourage you to support the UBC ISA (UBC International Students Association) by messaging them your concerns or opinions.
Also, if of interest, the UBC Social Justice Centre will be discussing possible action around this issue at their weekly meeting today: 5 PM in SUB 245.

BREAKING: UBC to Increase International Tuition by 10% and Residence Fees by 20% A source with connections to the UBC Board of Governors has revealed to the Talon that tuition for international students will be raised by 10%, and residence fees on 8-month contracts will be similarly raised by approximately 20%.
