Specialty Insurance Agency has doubled its rates for Option 2 ($3M/$5M) performer policies!

If you live in the US and perform with fire, then you know that Specialty has been the only company to insure for indoor performances for years.

Don't panic! We've got some practical tips to help you navigate this change:

1. If you don't perform with fire (or you don't perform indoors with fire) look for an alternative carrier.

2. Consider opting for the lower Option ($1M/$3M) policy if you don't need the higher coverage.

3. Insure only for the number of gigs you expect to work. You can always upgrade if you exceed that number!

4. Calculate the price difference and divide it by the number of gigs covered. Then, increase your rates accordingly!

Even an off-the-rack costume from a dancewear company can look amazing if you have it tailored to fit you just right.

🌈 Colour: Pick colours that stand out from your background. If your backdrop is blue, skip blue, green, or purple and go for yellow, orange, or red instead.

🌞 For light backgrounds, stick to dark or bold colours. For dark ones, white or bright tones work best. Metallics? Always a solid choice!
