Before the tile, before the fixtures, before the finished product — there's this. Concrete cut, trenches dug, plumbing roughed in. It's not pretty yet, but this is where the real work happens, and honestly, it's our favourite part.
We're adding a brand new bathroom to the basement of this East Vancouver home — and that means going right back to basics. The slab has been cut and excavated to run all new drain lines, the walls are stripped back to the framing, and the layout is being carefully planned to maximize the space.
This is the kind of project that requires precision from day one. Get the rough-in wrong and everything that follows suffers. Get it right — and you end up with a beautiful, fully functional bathroom that adds real value to the home.

This full home renovation on Inverness Street in Vancouver is one of our favourites — and it's easy to see why. From the moment you walk in, every room flows seamlessly into the next, with a design that balances elegance and everyday livability.
The living room sets the tone with a dramatic floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace, rich dark hardwood floors, and oversized sliding doors that bring the outdoors in. The dining room carries that warmth forward with a stunning glass-top table beneath a crystal drum chandelier — simple details that make a big impact.
The kitchen is pure Comor craftsmanship: white shaker cabinetry with frosted glass uppers, a marble-look quartz countertop, stainless farmhouse sink, and a bold island-mounted range with a statement stainless hood. Open shelving, glass-front cabinets, and a sparkling quartz backsplash round out a space that's as functional as it is beautiful.
