We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting ready for tomorrow’s Bellezza Gala, the grand finale of Italian Design Weeks 2025.

The team, our volunteers, and our partners have all poured their hearts into creating a night to remember, a celebration of Italian creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

We’re thrilled to share that the event is completely sold out, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Acquafarina , where Chef Paolo Cattaneo and his team have prepared a menu inspired by our theme, Earth.

This evening in Vancouver, Speaking “Made in Italy” explores how language shapes the way Italy tells its story to the world.

Presented with Simon Fraser University’s Department of World Languages and Literatures, this event celebrates the 25th Week of Italian Language in the World, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Italy.

We’re honoured to welcome Professor Dr. Luana Carcano, who will share her insights on Bello, Ben Fatto (“Beautiful, Well-Made”) and the values of beauty, precision, and craftsmanship that define Made in Italy.

Italian Design Weeks begins this week.

For two weeks, Vancouver will celebrate Italian creativity in all its forms... design, architecture, fashion and even food. All inspired by this year’s theme: Earth. Shaped by Land, Culture, and Craft.

It all leads up to the Bellezza Gala, a spectacular closing night inside Acquafarina, one of Vancouver’s most refined Michelin-recommended restaurants. Expect an evening of authentic flavour and elegance, with a five-course Italian dinner, premium wines, and a live auction in support of Give UBC, including a grand prize valued at over $10,000: return flights to Italy and a Mediterranean cruise for two.
