We’re excited to welcome Allison Bells to the Foundation Body Lab team.
Allison is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Thompson Rivers University and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
With over 25 years of experience as an RMT, RCC, personal trainer, hockey trainer, and yoga instructor, Allison brings a unique, holistic perspective to her work. Her clinical approach emphasizes the mind-body connection and is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, recognizing the intricate relationship between our physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Allison provides a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and discover practical tools for growth and healing. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and ongoing impacts from physical and sexual abuse. Her therapeutic approach integrates EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, always tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Outside her professional life, Allison leads an active lifestyle and enjoys tennis, racquetball, pickleball, canoeing, rowing, paddle boarding, and mountain biking. A lifelong animal lover, she shares her home with two wonderful rescue dogs and two rescue cats.
