This year, I'm transforming a winter wreath into a symbol of renewal and abundance using gold bobbles and spring blooms. It’s a project that mirrors my own internal journey. Growing up between Western culture and Eastern values used to confuse and cause inner conflict, but I’m finding peace somewhere in between.

I’m honored to be speaking about this journey at a Lunar New Year event this week—sharing how I’ve learned to respect my roots while choosing the values that define who I am today. ✨

Lunar new year is only about a week away. We're moving from the Year of the Wood Snake and galloping into the Year of the Fire Horse, a time for bold moves and big hearts. Over the last year, I have shed a lot of the things that don't serve me and I'm bringing that energy and intention into this upcoming year.
In my previous post I mentioned I am postponing the Lunar New Year event that I was planning. I'm leaning into my intuition and waiting for the right moment to announce my next event. Wisdom is knowing how to listen to your heart and feeling when things are meant to be!

Winter mood:
Finding balance. We've been having a relatively warm winter so far. Still, winter is a time to take it slow and enjoy home comforts like hot tea in a cozy blanket. Hot tea and winter greens exude a kind of vibrancy that you can actually feel in your body.

A few more snaps from our recent winter forest floral workshop. Raw materials, creative minds, and a lot of moss. There's something so grounding about using your hands to work with nature. Fresh moss texture feels so luscious and delicate, like petting a fuzzy dog. Real talk tho.. when I'm working in volume I wear gloves to protect my hands from the elements.
