Metz design

Starting on Monday I will be fabricating a clamping jig for the edging of this table. Directly after completing the jig wood will be ripped and milled for the tables solid edging.

Out of a portion of the 80 board feet of mahogany all four chairs, that's 36 individual parts, has been shaped to size. Marking the placement of some 14 dowels with location templates followed by drilling 1/4" dowel holes is next.

Received the 80 board feet today. Skimmed the one face of each board to grade the color and grain pattern. Chalked out where each member of the Transitional chair, four times, paying attention to the grain and shape of each template.

Absolutely nothing to do with design: In the CFL this Sunday Nov. 27th the BC Lions will win the Grey Cup with a score advantage of 14 points.

I spent this Saturday purging the wood rack and cleaning the entire shop including my bench area. I am ready for the Transitional Project.
