I’ve been thinking a lot about growth lately. We can all reflect on our lives and see ways in which we’ve grown as people, as friends, as partners and in our careers. 🌱 🌱
I personally find growth to be a comforting concept and I’ve been contrasting that to the idea of goals. While I’m a HUGE supporter for setting goals- I find that sometimes goals are stressful. I feel the weight of perfectionism and often will self sabotage. The fear of failing to reach a goal that I have set for myself is both a powerful motivator and a source of stress. 🌱 🌱
Growth however, feels organic. Growth embraces failure. Growth continually propelled you forward to greater things. 🌱 🌱
So lately I’ve been moving away from setting rigid goals in my life. I definitely have aspirations and things I want to accomplish, but that’s always a part of moving forward. You need a direction to grow. 🌱 🌱
What are some ways in which you’ve grown? What are some ways in which you’d like to grow? Once you have those answers, water that grass and watch what happens.

What are you training for!?.
Me? I’m training to be able to do all the things that bring me joy- snowboarding, hiking, paddle boarding, yoga, running up stairs because you’re full of energy, moving with no pain, sitting on the floor cross legged, energy for a full day of exploring on vacation, good nights sleeps, ripping up the dance floor at weddings, carrying all my groceries inside in one trip..... the list goes on!
Step one is always finding your why- that’s where you find motivation and the ability to stay consistent. From there you build a plan..
