The end of August was a low engagement week on LinkedIn. It makes sense. I was wrapping up vacation. I was getting back into the swing of things. My guess? So was everyone else.

But I picked up 9 new followers that same week.

I was focused on one metric (engagement) and almost missed what was actually working (growth).

It's easy to do this in your business too. You're watching one number slide while another one's quietly climbing.

Sometimes the win isn't where you thought it would be.
