The multiplex tsunami is changing the face of our residential neighbourhoods. We encourage and advocate for the retention and revitalization of certain homes in order to preserve something that might soon be lost. Policy makers need to provide a pathway for retention projects that go above and beyond the multiplex pathway. This project converted an early 1900s home into an up-down duplex. The ground level is a 3 bedroom accessible, aging in place unit and the upper unit is a spacious 5 bedroom family home.
