We've got news.

Nucleus Networks has been named one of six finalists for GTIA - Global Technology Industry Association's inaugural Innovate Award, recognizing channel companies putting AI to work in ways that are operational, measurable, and actually deployed (not just slideware).

We're proud to be a finalist in the internal AI category for the work our team has done using AI to sharpen how we operate behind the scenes, so that our clients get faster, smarter support.

Here's the fun part: all six finalists present live at in San Diego this August, where the winner is decided by a mix of judges' scoring and a live audience vote. So yes, we'll be on stage, and yes, we'd love your support (aka, who wants to be in our cheering section?).

Huge congratulations to our fellow finalists, and a big thank you to GTIA for spotlighting AI ex*****on across the industry.

They Cloned the Boss's Voice. Finance Didn't Stand a Chance. 06/15/2026

The finance team did everything right. They recognized the CEO's voice. They responded to an urgent request from a trusted contact. They transferred the money.

The CEO never made that call.

A Canadian company recently fell victim to an AI voice cloning scam. No malware, no data breach, just a cloned voice and a spoofed caller ID. And it worked perfectly because the process had no way to verify what everyone's instincts said was true.

This is the new reality: voice is no longer proof of identity. Caller ID was never a security control. And the tools to clone an executive's voice from a podcast clip or conference talk are available to anyone.

The fix isn't teaching your team to distrust their own leadership. It's adding a verification step outside the channel being spoofed — a second signal that can't be faked by whoever's on the phone.

This story will keep happening. The question is whether your organization has that step in place before it happens to you.
