Join us for SPEC’s Elders Learning Circles, a free bi-monthly online gathering for seniors, allies, and community members passionate about sustainability, storytelling, and Elder leadership.

These circles are spaces for reflection, connection, and dialogue. Together, we explore what it means to mature as Elders: cultivating wisdom on the inside and contributing to community resilience and climate action on the outside.

Small-scale farmers are managing land that filters water, sequesters carbon, supports pollinators, things that benefit all of us, way beyond what ends up on our plates.

They're being asked to do all of that while navigating rising costs, unpredictable seasons, and funding that rarely reaches farms like theirs. Most government programs are built for large operations, which is exactly the gap we exist to fill.

Well-stewarded land has real ecological value. So do the people working hard to maintain it.
