Your friendly neighbourhood choirgirl-turned-DJ, LOUP is a classically-trained vocalist & pianist who stumbled into the rave and never looked back. Their genre-defying sound spans from deep dub to, halftime and drum & bass, blending dark etherial melodies with glittery percussion and a healthy dose of bass. With appearances at clubs and festivals around BC and a number of releases on the horizon, she’s primed to take her multi-dimensional sound to a dancefloor near you.

Our goal is to organize monthly gatherings that showcase our talented collective of artists and promote the vibrant local sound system scene.
We aim to provide creatives with a unique platform, fostering connections between artists and their fans in an intimate setting.
We firmly believe that regular events like ours will greatly benefit our community.

Our vision for Standard Sound extends beyond simply hosting events. We want to cultivate a community where like-minded individuals can come together in a safe and supportive environment to enjoy their favorite style of music. At the same time, we aim to uplift and showcase the extraordinary local talent this province has to offer. We are eager to witness this project flourish alongside our scene and are committed to creating a positive impact.
