🌱 A: This is a toss up, because I immediately want to say "don't throw away your broccoli stems!"... but I think my favourite tip has to be: consign and buy second hand clothing whenever you can- there is nothing better than saving the planet while also saving a dollar!

🌱 A: Hi, I'm Ali! A former plant-based cafΓ© owner, and a current student in the Health and Exercise Science program at UBC Okanagan. During my time running the cafΓ©, I co-published a cookbook that reflects my passion for creating nourishing, accessible food from plants. I’m deeply interested in the connection between food, health, and community, and I enjoy sharing plant-forward cooking as a way to support wellbeing and sustainability.
