✨ the moments in between ✨
I have reached the one month mark since I came back from India. Although the 300h advanced yoga teacher training finished earlier than that, I’ve been reflecting lately and wanted to share a few of the moments inbetween classes.
These moments will be the ones I remember and will cherish in my heart.
With very special people, on a very special land.
I am still processing all the transformation that occurred during this second time on the sacred land. One thing I can share though is that the growth, the lessons, happened during those moments inbetween.
A chitchat with another student, the sight of wildlife, being in awe faced with Mother Nature, learning life lessons from Guruji .yogrishi and just sitting and observing, listening to the silence, this sacred sound 😌 the cosmic consciousness.
There is so much beauty and profound change happening in those moments.
Have you paused and noticed the moments inbetween (your task list, your Netflix show, your social interactions, you name it..) ?
Give yourself some grace and pause 😮💨
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to transform, every day, no matter where I am. Each experience, interaction, reflexion, a transformation occurs.
Looking forward to sharing more of my journey with you, perhaps even in person !

✨ Restorative Raja Yoga ✨
Bringing to you even more goodness!
Restorative Raja Yoga was developed by Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu .yogrishi as a gentle yet profound style within Akhanda Yoga. This practice combines simple, accessible postures with Bhramari (honey bee) sound, which enhances physical release and mental clarity.
This class aims to release deeply embedded tension, restore the body’s natural rhythms, and support a calm, balanced mind.
So MANY Benefits from practicing Bhramari breath:
🐝Deep Cellular Stress Release: Bhramari sound, combined with gentle postures, releases stress held within muscles and organs, promoting relaxation at a cellular level.
🐝 Improved Physical and Mental Alignment: Practitioners find improved alignment and ease in movement, while mental tension is released through the effects of sound vibration.
🐝 Enhanced Nervous System and Vagus Nerve Function: The Bhramari sound resonates through the throat, stimulating the vagus nerve and harmonizing the body’s stress-relieving systems, including the parasympathetic nervous system. This activation supports relaxation, reduces stress, and enhances emotional regulation, benefiting overall nervous system health.
🐝 Restorative Activation of the Third Eye: Sound vibrations activate the third eye center (Ajna chakra), supporting focus, balanced emotions, and deeper meditation.
🐝 Beneficial for All Life Stages: Particularly supportive for those with insomnia, emotional imbalance, thyroid issues, prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, and during the pregnancy phase. The sound frequencies activate various parts of the brain while calming and nourishing the body and mind.
Mmmhhhh…. These are only a few examples from a very long list of benefits.

✨Hatha Yoga - Akhanda style ✨
I am super happy to resume teaching classes in North Vancouver, this time in the beautiful space at !
And I am even more excited to teach Akhanda classes 🔥
I practiced and learned Akhanda in the Himalayan foothills, at . This practice has its roots in the Adi Nath Shiv lineage, and I am honored to be passing down the teachings from my Yoga master dr Yogrishi Vishvketu who himself learned from his Guru Baba Prem Nath. I am filled with gratitude for this privilege 🙏
Akhanda Yoga, founded by master Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu .yogrishi , is a holistic and integrated approach to yoga that emphasizes a balanced practice.
The word Akhanda means “whole” or “indivisible,” reflecting the comprehensive nature of this style, which incorporates all aspects of yoga into one class: asana (posture), pranayama (breathing techniques), mantra (chanting), meditation, and philosophy.
Akhanda Yoga is designed to provide practitioners with a well-rounded experience that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. Each class follows a specific theme and flows through a combination of:
● Philosophical teachings: Yogic wisdom integrated throughout the practice to inspire self-reflection and personal growth.
● Mantra: The use of sound to create a focused and meditative atmosphere.
● Asanas: A balanced selection of postures that strengthen, stretch, and align the body.
● Pranayama: Activating and balancing the Nadis to calm and energize the mind.
● Meditation: Practices that encourage mindfulness and inner stillness.
This integrative approach makes Akhanda Yoga unique in its ability to bring about physical vitality, mental clarity, and spiritual awareness. Expect a very balanced practice, combining breathwork, movement, meditation, and relaxation.
Open to all levels of practice, variations will be offered.
