A critical step in the process of casting wood in epoxy is removing the bark from the organic edge of the slab. If this is not completed, it is likely that the molecular bond between the epoxy and wood will fail over time with seasonal changes in humidity.

Following the epoxy flood coat in my previous video, each table is trimmed on a sliding panel saw to its final dimensions - prior to the finishing sand/oil coat.
