Last week we had the honour of traveling to in Tampa Florida to compete at the most prestigious rugby 7's tournament in North America. I was entrusted to work with these girls as their strength and conditioning coach the last 3 months and to say that I am proud of them is a MASSIVE understatement. They showed up at every training session with grit and determination and was definitely the fittest team in our U16 Elite division. We fell short in the final against a very talented team from Australia. The girls gave it their all and that is all a coach can ask for. So so proud of this bunch of girls. The future looks bright for these athletes and I wish them all the best in their rugby careers. The will be back to claim the top step in the very near future.
