Heartbroken you can’t make it? Fear not! The show has been extended!! Now up until July 15 🥳

Artists (that’s us 😎) will be in attendance from 12-6pm on Saturday July 6th, and once again on Saturday, July 13th, when we’ll be having an artists talk. More information on that later 😉

3 more days until we open!! We’re over here at the studio working hard to finish up in time for our opening on May 19th, from 6-10pm, at ! Bring yourselves, your friends, your parents, and whoever else you think might enjoy getting a closer look into two different creative practices. If you can’t make it to the opening, it’ll be up until May 24th, with the artists present this weekend from 12-4pm. 🥳🥳

Started this new series that will be shown at in the show “PROMPT: a collaborative exhibition about art-making, process, and the variations between two different creative practices.” this May!

The “prompt” for these babies is “water and movement”. I knew I wanted to challenge my perfectionist side and I knew I wanted to draw/paint faces, I also wanted to do it literally on water and through lots of trail and error, I found that nail polish was the perfect(but soooo stinky) medium! The “water “part is pretty self explanatory but the idea of “movement” not only comes into play as the painting wobbles, waves and distorts as I paint but also when I press the wood panel down onto it and lift it out of the water. I am really enjoying the contrast of this painting process againt my oil painting practice. The release of control…joyous and infuriating all in the most wonderful ways. I’ll post a reel shortly to show the process in action!
