🎉🎉 A wonderfully textured washi paper for Saskatoon artist Debra Marshall.

We recently made several prints and test prints for Debra’s art practice using Awagami Inbe Thick White 125 gsm, a thin, beautifully textured Japanese washi paper with a very distinctive surface and feel.

As a specialty fine art print lab, we love working one on one with artists to support their vision, especially when a project calls for a more specific paper, process, or level of testing.

For this project, we also worked with Haris Hasimbegovic, our friend at Chromalink ), to create a custom calibration profile for this unique paper, helping us better translate Debra’s work onto such a delicate and tactile surface. A beautiful collaboration between artist, paper, and print process.
