Important Update to the NUGSS Health and Dental Referendum:

NUGSS has obtained the legal opinion above from independent counsel regarding the March 18 referendum.

The NUGSS Board of Directors has decided to follow the legal advice. At this time, the referendum has been reviewed and is now considered passed.

The NUGSS Board of Directors has approved a 20% increase in the Health and Dental Plan for the upcoming year.

Yesterday, our Board of Directors President Armaan Jamwal, Director Prabhleen Binjee, and General Manager Doug Minaker had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, Honourable Jessie Sunner.

Alongside representatives from the NBCGSS Board of Directors, discussions focused on the future of students at UNBC and key priorities impacting our campus community.
