Michelle is the owner of Bold and Italic, a marketing and communications consultancy based in Truro. She founded her business in 2013, after a 15-year career in communications and fundraising with a variety of non-profit organizations. Through her work, Michelle helps small businesses, events, and charities amplify their impact, providing strategic marketing support so they can focus on delivering products, services and programs that matter.

A passionate advocate for her community, Michelle co-founded Local Love Truro, and believes in celebrating and supporting the local businesses, organizations, and initiatives that make Colchester County a great place to live, work, and thrive. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and photography, and adventures (and naps!) with her cockapoo, Cocoa.

We are excited to introduce Victoria Lomond as our new Operations Manager for Delaney House.

Victoria brings 11 years of dedicated service to STEPs, building a career grounded in integrity, collaboration, and a deep commitment to person-directed support. Throughout her time with our team, she has consistently demonstrated compassionate leadership, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering belief that the people we support should always be at the center of every decision.
Her experience spans all aspects of our organization, giving her a strong understanding of our mission and the importance of Education and Training, Employment Supports, and Life Enhancement. Victoria is passionate about empowering people through self-advocacy, informed choice, and creating meaningful opportunities that help individuals reach their goals.

As Operations Manager, Victoria is committed to supporting and empowering staff, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture, and ensuring our services continue to reflect our values of inclusion, respect, and excellence. She believes that investing in people, encouraging professional growth, and working together as a team creates the strongest outcomes for both employees and the individuals we support.
