Use your dogs meal food or treats.
Do you want your puppy/dog to be calm/ relaxed? Start reinforcing all the calmness. Stop reinforcing the hyped up dog. Every time your dog lays down in a relaxed manner simply walk over and lay a treat on floor beside muzzle. If they get get don’t worry as they will go lay down again and you can reinforce again.
