The postpartum period is a time of constant giving from the mother, while also transitioning and healing from childbirth. It can be a very draining time and reflexology is a great way to “mother the mother”, and support the body in a time when it probably needs it most.

Reflexology is given in a semi reclined position which allows baby to be held and fed, without the quality of the session diminishing. No need to separate mom and baby. Sessions can be done at home or in clinic.

Reflexology helps the body balance hormones, induces relaxation which promotes the production of breast milk and letdown, stimulates uterine contractions to support the uterus in returning to its pre-pregnancy state and decrease postpartum blood loss, can improve quality of sleep, increase energy levels and more!

Constipation- difficulty having bowel movements caused by poor eating habits, irritable colon, spastic colitis, or emotional imbalance.
Can also be common at any stage of of pregnancy or postpartum due to slow digestion.
