The Lonergan Research Institute today received the sad news that Philip McShane passed away the morning of July 1. We extend our most sincere condolences to family and friends. Rest in peace, Philip.

We are excitedly preparing for our next Lonergan Seminar, 2 pm, Mar. 15, at Regis College, and invite you to join us. Prof. Jordan Ryan of the University of Dubuque will be presenting on “Collingwood’s Idea of History in Lonerganian Philosophy of History and its Relevance for the Historical Interpretation of the New Testament,” and Sam Needham, a doctoral student at Emmanuel College, has graciously agreed to offer a response. As always, reception to follow.
