There’s been a lot of buzz lately about creators not disclosing when they’ve been paid for content. Whether this is an oversight or an intentional request on the part of the brand or agency, transparency isn’t optional. (If a potential partner asks you not to disclose, RUN.)

Paid? Gifted? Sponsored? Say so. Your audience will thank you. Your partners will avoid a lawsuit. And your authentic, trust-inspiring reputation will remain intact. 

The tea: it’s not the partnership tags hurting reach, it’s the quality of the content. We said what we said.
