Head Chef – Filipino Cuisine
Location: Toronto, ON

Tinuno, a well-established Filipino restaurant in Toronto, is seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Filipino cuisine, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff (20+ team members)
- Manage food prep, quality control, and kitchen operations
- Create and refine Filipino dishes and new recipes
- Oversee food inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling and presentation
- Coordinate special events (banquets, weddings, etc.)
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant kitchen

Requirements:
> Safe Food Handling Certificate
> Minimum 5 years of chef experience, with Filipino cuisine expertise
> Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
> Ability to perform under pressure and manage high-volume service
> Physically capable of handling kitchen demands (lifting, standing, etc.)
