“Just Sold” posts aren’t building your real estate business. It’s quietly burying it.
I know it feels productive. It’s proof you’re closing, proof you’re legit. But in a world where social media feeds are dominated by users favourite teams, musicians, family and friends - your Canva post is boring.
Most people buy a home maybe two or three times in their whole life. So on any given day, almost nobody in your audience is ready to buy.
That’s the part new agents miss. You’re not posting for the 1% who are ready now. You’re posting for the 99% who aren’t - the ones quietly watching, deciding who they’ll trust when it’s finally their turn.
And they don’t decide based on your sold signs. They decide based on whether you answered the thing they were too nervous to ask.
“Can I even afford this?”
“Is now a stupid time to buy?”
“How much do I actually need saved?”
So stop guessing what to post. Go find what they’re already asking:
1. AnswerThePublic (it’s free)
2. Type your city + “buying a home”
3. Look at the real questions people are Googling
4. Answer one. Honestly. That’s your post.
Do that for a month, and you stop being another feed full of listings. You become the agent they already trust before they’ve said a word to you.
