Previously, he served as CEO of Appen AI, working with industry leaders including Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Nvidia, and as President of KPMG Digital, leading the firm's evolution from services to software.

We’re excited to welcome Farah Khan as a panelist for our inaugural MAX Boards event, The Modern Director.

A senior healthcare executive and governance leader, Farah currently serves as Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services at Trillium Health Partners. Since joining THP in 2017, she has held several leadership roles, including Regional Program Director for the Mississauga Halton Central West Regional Cancer Program and Director of Quality, Risk and Patient Safety, where she advanced evidence based practices to strengthen quality, patient safety, and patient outcomes. Prior to THP, she served as Senior Director of Surgery and Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Farah’s leadership spans healthcare, academia, and governance. She is a former Board Member of the Canadian Nurses Association, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Nursing, and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing. Her contributions to advancing excellence in healthcare have earned her numerous recognitions, including the RNAO President’s Award in Clinical Nursing Practice and the City of Mississauga COVID HERO Civic Award of Recognition.
