GreenShield Canada has announce that a collective agreement has been accepted by the GreenShield union Unifor, bringing an end to the strike on April 19th.

Their call centers will resume regular operations on Monday, April 22nd.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and support during the recent weeks.

Please note that there may be higher call volumes than usual at this time.

Last week, GreenShield's agreement with its union, Unifor, expired, leading to a strike without notice.

GreenShield Canada activated their contingency plan to ensure essential services continue to be provided to their valued members and the vulnerable communities they support, during the strike.

Meeting the needs of our plan members is our top priority. To ensure members are aware of how to access services during the strike, GreenShield Canada has prepared a message for their members, outlining the services available for continued support.

GreenShield Canada remains optimistic that a settlement can be reached through constructive and focused discussions.
