When I was a kid I used to have dreams about Nalanda University. Founded in 427 CE, Nalanda is considered the world's first residential university, a sort of medieval Ivy League institution home to nine million books. So I decided to make a video about this historic university. Nalanda was tragically erased from history. In this video, I uncover the rise, brilliance, and destruction of this lost institution and why its legacy still matters today!
