By popular demand, the CSSU and UofTWiCS would like to invite you to join the CSSU X UofT WiCS February (Valentines theme) social!

Come meet new friends, play boardgames, have free food, and socialize!

We know a lot of you were looking forward to the speed dating event. However, in order to be inclusive of everyone, we figured it would be better to combine it with the social. Here’s how it works:

Upon entering the room, you will be provided a name tag where you can write your name, your age, sexual orientation, etc. (what information you disclose on your name tag is up to you of course). But most importantly, whether you’re looking for a romantic match 😉.
Green means go! You are definitely looking for someone.
Yellow means maybe. You’re open to romantic matches, but are a little unsure
Red means Not open relationship, friendship only!
Basically it’ll be a regular cs student social. But if you see someone else with green on their name tag, you know what that means.

CSSU is partnering up with W3A to demystify Web3.0 for students from all disciplines.

We have invited the Developer Advocate from Truffle, a top-of-the-class web3 developer tool, to share her industry knowledge of web 3.0 and help students learn how to break into web 3.0.

Session 1 (11/7) dives into the fundamentals of web3.0;

Session 2 (11/10) is a workshop where the speaker will build a full stack NFT marketplace LIVE! (recording will be provided to people who attend the live event only)
