So the measurement for the amount of dry fruits and alcohol is described in detail here.

For 4 Christmas fruit cakes,
Crystallized ginger - 50g
Sultana or black raisins - 140g
Dried cranberries - 85g
Dried apricot - 130g
Dates - 250g
Cashews - 65g
Dried prunes - 160g.
You need 300ml of rum,wine or whiskey (preferably rum) to soak the amount of fruits mentioned above.

You can alter the recipe if you need to make fewer or lesser number of cakes.Also,feel free to alter the ratio of dry fruits to your preference as long as you have 200g-250g of dry fruits per cake.
