As humanitarian needs continue to grow following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, GlobalMedic is preparing emergency aid for affected communities with the support of the Venezuelan-Canadian community - Venezolanos en Toronto .

Nearly 100 volunteers came together to assemble Family Emergency Kits containing a point-of-use water purification unit, a hygiene kit and a solar light. These kits will help families access clean drinking water and hygiene essentials as they begin the long road to recovery.

Many of the volunteers have family and friends directly affected by the earthquakes, making this response deeply personal.

Once packed, the kits will be shipped to Venezuela, where GlobalMedic's local partners will distribute them directly to affected families. As recovery continues, GlobalMedic remains committed to delivering life-saving assistance and supporting communities when they need it most.
