March 1st, 2026 is Casey House’s 38th birthday! 🎂🎉

Thank you to all our staff, volunteers, peers, clients, donors, supporters, and friends for seeing us through to 38 years of judgement-free essential health care. It is an honour to serve people living with and at risk of HIV. In 1988, HIV was considered to be a death sentence. We could not have transitioned from hospice to hospital without the resilience of community. Casey House was founded by a group of volunteers, led by June Callwood, after witnessing the undignified treatment of people with HIV. Today, we apply the same passion when caring for people who have been systemically excluded from receiving care. Love has always been integral to our operation. You all inspire us to extend our hearts and push toward a more equitable future. Thank you for another year of support!
