Track 4 - Dance With Me

This song contains one of my personal favourite lyrics that I've written:

"The spotlight of the moon revealed the contours of your face"

I wrestled with this line for a while, trying to find the best way to capture that classic image in cinema of the shadowy first glance of the main characters' love interest. Very rarely do I complete a lyric, confident that I could not have articulated my thought any better than I did. This is one of those rare instances where I was fully satisfied with what I put on paper.

This song had 2 goals:

1. A story about love at first dance

2. A 1950s doo-wop inspired slow dance number for couples at weddings

So how did I do?
