Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. It is a day that recognizes the ongoing harm to Indigenous communities from the legacy of Canada's residential schools.

Today, we remember and honour the survivors, their families and communities, and those who never returned home.

All Canadians can play a role in furthering reconciliation by reading the 94 calls to action in the Truth and Reconciliation report.
