I'm super excited to share I've accepted a permanent position as a photojournalist at The Toronto Star!!!! This is quite literally a dream come true and something I never thought possible when I started dipping my toes into freelancing in 2010. I'm so lucky to have the support of my editors and colleagues and my wonderful partner - without any of them I wouldn't be in this position. I'm so excited to see what the future will bring! Close to 100 people gathered at Don Mills and Shepard Avenue for the Every Child Matters in Palestine Too march on Sunday evening. Speakers acknowledged the Canadian government's recognition of Palestinian statehood, but cautioned that it was too little and more needed to be done by Canada and the world to halt the continuing killing of innocent people in Palestine and the West Bank. 📸
