Aftermath - 2019

Today we finished colouring and some light VFX on a new, two channel art installation for multi-disciplinary artist Simone Jones, titled Aftermath. The piece was shot by on twin RED Digital Cinema Dragons at 5k for a 4k master, and through ZEISS Cinematography CP2's and an IB/E optics GmbH Raptor 100mm.

Both will simultaneously be rear-projected onto massive opposing screens, to let viewers wander between them as the piece unfolds in a continuous, synchronized loop.

These are some before/after examples of two of my favourite frames where much of the piece plays out, in a conversation between the two characters, played by Tim Post and Kirsten Johnson.
