Get to know Jeremy Proulx

Jeremy Proulx (Bemaashi-Niisonge) is a stage actor, writer and storyteller of Anishnabek (Ojibwe) and Haudenosaunee (Oneida) heritage. Jeremy is currently remounting Beautiful Scars at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa this September, and spoke to us about his 25+ years in the craft.

Get to know Devon Hansen!

Devon is the Theatre Manager of the Chatham Capitol Theatre and Kiwanis Theatre in Chatham-Kent. His presenting career started 14 years ago through a local non-profit series, and his work as a pianist includes running a community music school and performances as far as Carnegie Hall. Last season marked the Capitol’s 15th anniversary and Devon’s first fully programmed season, and it broke every attendance record in the theatre’s history.

Lisa Nasson is a Mi’kmaw actor, playwright, and emerging director raised in Millbrook First Nation in Mi’kma’ki, Nova Scotia. Lisa wrote and acted in her recently-debuted play Mischief, an incredible story about the real-life protest and removal of a controversial Halifax monument.
