I'm thrilled to announce my return to Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Toronto. This will be my third year at this legendary show.

The time, I'm tackling my own 10 x 10 corner booth! 😱 I'm super excited running through blueprint options! I'll be bringing original paintings and a few new products as well!

This is the only event I have booked for 2026 while I focus on some behind-the-scenes art projects so I really hope to see some familiar faces there!

Taking some time to reflect on 2025 and prepare for 2026 🔮

I want to thank everyone who has stuck by. My posting and general social media interactions have been minimal the last few months. And even this year, a majority of my posts were about events and products, less about new art creations. But even so, you have remained and continue to be here showing your support. And that means the world to me! 🫶

✨️ Sold an original painting at the Taboo Show
✨️ Picked up sculpting as a new art medium

Aside from this, I also have some self-development milestones, especially within the last month. Thanks to a fantastic book (The Artist's Way), I've started doing Morning Pages. 3 pages every morning of pure stream of consciousness. I'm 25 days in now, never missing a day, and it's changed my brain chemistry. I connect with the act of journalling more than I thought I would. This new habit has also come with regular: yoga, cardio, resistence training, cutting out coffee, water drinking, and strategic diet change. I feel electricified.

I'm very grateful for the experiences and the beautiful people I've met this year. It's been a wild ride the last 2 years launching my art business, vending, and traveling. Coming out of my introverted shell.

While I enjoyed my vending experience, I will be doing significantly less shows next year. Instead, focusing on art creation and preparing for two very large and exciting projects that I can't talk about yet! 🤫

First sculpture complete ✅️

It's a bit of a learning curve for me working in 3D. So to start, I made a fun simple piece in 2 days. A good exercise in not overthinking. Based on an indie game I've been playing for over a decade: The Binding of Isaac.

The game is about a young boy, Isaac, living with his deranged mother whose extreme religious devotion is weaponized against him. Absorbed by Christian broadcasts, she believes she hears the voice of God. Under the justification of religious purity, she strips Isaac of his posessions and autonomy. This mirrors real-world patterns of abusive parenting where a child’s identity and freedom are restricted “for their own good.” As her erratic behaviour escalates, Isaac becomes increasingly isolated and terrified, eventually fleeing through a trapdoor in his bedroom to escape her. This is where the game begins.

From there, we descend into a hellish, surreal underworld shaped by a child’s coping mechanisms in an unsafe home. Fear is turned into monsters which Isaac destroys with his tears. He picks up symbolic items related to his trauma deepening his sadness and therefore his tear strength. Flies, worms, and waste may represent neglect. Across the many endings, Isaac often sees himself as sinful and unworthy as he wrestles with the duality of good and evil: satan and the angels.

I've been playing this game for so long and recently picked up the Four Souls card game too. To me, it makes me think about how fear transforms as we grow: with childhood monsters forming new faces in adulthood. Seemed like a fitting place to start.

Lately, I’ve been wrestling with direction, purpose, aging, and the challenge of balancing everything I’m trying to build. I'm going through a tremendous amount of change, as Isaac does, where I almost don't recognize myself anymore. I’ve started journaling for the first time in my life, seeking counseling, and practicing new ways of self-care.

It's exhilarating and scary in it's unfamiliarity.

I shall be creeping the 's Halloween and Haunted House Rave on Friday October 31st at the El Mocambo with my Dark Artwork. Located on Spadina Avenue in Toronto from 9:00pm to 2:00am 👻

It will be 3 floors with 20+ DJs playing a range of House, Techno, DnB, Bass, Trap, and more. I got my fists and mean face ready 😤🤜 to throw down to and 's raging B2B set. I'm sure will also be melting some faces with some hard-hitting dubstep. Looking forward to seeing the JSTDRMN community again, you guys have the best energy ⚡️

Also something to note: this will be my last event of the year until next spring. After this, I'll be going into hibernation mode to focus on creative projects. I teased something a few weeks ago regarding a new direction I'm heading in with my art and so I'm taking the winter to prepare for it! So come out to dance for the last event of the year! 😈
