When the Mayor of the city links up with the Mayor of the city.

Blessed and highly favoured. Honoured to be invited by Mayor Olivia Chow to celebrate the closing of Black History Month and to celebrate the Honourable Dr. Jean Augustine who was responsible for its creation in Canada. Thankful to be in a room filled with amazing people pushing the culture forward and recognizing our elders who’ve paved a way for us. Give thx for everyone involved in putting this event together.

Friday February 7th 2025 we celebrated The Culture. which is on the 5th floor and runs till April 6th 2025. The roots of Toronto Hip Hop, Reggae starts at Marlee and Eglinton with the record shops and hair product shops what people refer to as Little Jamaica. The people in these photos represent the roots and foundation of what we stand upon. Big up to all the people dem. Obviously there’s more than what’s included in these 20 pics but here’s a likkle taste for una who don’t know wha gwan or haven’t peeped the show yet. P.S. keep walking by like you don’t see my picture on the wall. You can ignore me and my people dem all you want but you’ll never be able to stop what The Most High has planned for us which is greatness. Real recognize real and opinions of likkle bad mind people or people whom nah have da vision can gway. When we step into a room we shine bright like the sun because our auras are strong and there’s nothing you can do to dim our shine. Blessed and Highly favoured. With love, fix una face when you look pon we 👑❤️✊🏿🇯🇲🇬🇭 Liberation must gwan!
