I give them systems + frameworks.

Now she’s being seen as an expert.

And feels confident on them.

"I don't want to work 14 hour days like papa."
Her words hurt.
I'd launched my coaching business to have more freedom and more impact, but hearing those words from our teenage daughter made it clear that I'd also built a hamster wheel for myself.
That's when I realized the same "corporate ladder trap" exists as an entrepreneur:
→ Get your first paying client.
→ Grow to consistent $5K months.
→ Crack that golden $100K/year mark.
→ Figure out how to "scale" further as others are doing more.
So you keep going and going, always pushing yourself to the next milestone.
My business has grown every year since launch and I do have goals to get Growth Habit to the million dollar a year mark.
BUT.......
A few months ago I decided that I will not do it while being a stranger to my family.
Or pretending that some arbitrary amount of money justifies sacrificing my physical health and neglecting my mental well-being.
My preferred units of measurement are the amount of people I've impacted and the number of quality days I've spent with people I love...... not the dollars in revenue.
