We regenerate, constant state of transformation, transfiguration, change, and rising form the ashes.
Edit: I am a little disappointed by how people have missed the entire point of this post. Yes, forests can burn and be razed to the ground. But they can also grow back and regenerate and heal; just as our bodies can. I love this metaphor because for anyone who has experienced trauma to their bodies and minds they know the healing process almost kills it. Trust me you don't need to tell them that "forests" burn and can be razed to the ground. But you focus on the negative and fail to see the beauty and the hope in the metaphor. The message is this: no matter how hurt, how burnt, how razed and destroyed to your core you are you can always heal from trauma. You can always survive the worst because as human, but especially as women, we are capable of enduring great pain and suffering and surviving it and healing and growing out of it. In my life, I just have to look at myself and how much I have healed out of pain and suffering, emotionally and physically to see how my beautiful forest body has grown and healed in places and ways I never thought it was capable of, or even imagined. A little more approaching things with love and empathy can go a long way for all of us. Hawzhin Azeez
