Education: Ryan is a kinesiology graduate from Ontario Tech University, formerly known as the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). During his degree, Ryan was awarded the opportunity to fast-track his education due to his academic performance, to complete his undergrad in 3 years. He is currently in his final intern year as a chiropractic student and is now taking on patients for treatment.

Coaching Experience: Ryan's knowledge about human biomechanics has led him to previously work with NCAA athletes while at Ontario Tech. Ryan’s hometown of Georgetown, Ontario, recruited him as a hockey performance coach for the Halton Hills minor hockey organization. Having a background in hockey, Ryan is able to connect with players and help them understand the work that is needed to reach the next level in skating performance.

Coaching Philosophy: Ryan believes in hard work and dedication to the craft of enhancing technique and performance. He likes to achieve that as well as share some jokes along the way.

Fun fact: Ryan had dinner with Ron Maclean from Hockey Night in Canada.
