Every day, Nankind shows up for parents facing cancer by helping lift the worries they carry so they can focus on what matters most: their families.

Moments like Mother’s Day allow our community to grow and help us reach more people who want to make a difference for families navigating parental cancer.

This Mother’s Day, our community truly bloomed. From sharing Jordanna’s story on CTV’s Things to Know, to our Brunch & Blooms event, to the generosity of our partners Village Craft and Candle and Denny’s Canada, every act of support created meaningful impact for families in need.

That impact will help carry us beyond the 1,000+ meals we’re preparing to deliver and toward every family still waiting for support.

Every donation, share, and supporter helps make sure one more mom doesn’t have to worry about what’s waiting at home after treatment.

We are incredibly grateful to share Nankind has received a $20,000 gift from the TELUS Community Board.

This funding will directly support Nankind’s work giving children experiencing a parent’s cancer diagnosis, the tools to cope and will help to lessen the impact of cancer on families in Ontario.

We are excited to invest these funds into our programming that will build emotional resiliency for children and the families we serve.
