Today I turn 44!

Although my son told my I look 32 so that’s winning 🤣

I was going to do a post about the 44 lessons I’ve learned from my 44 years around the sun.

And then I decided that was boring and repetitive and everyone does that.

And one thing I’m certainly not is boring and like everyone else.

I am intense, passionate and unique. And while I tried to hide those things in my 20’s and 30’s, my 40’s has given me the freedom and permission to own these qualities fully.

To be fully self expressed unapologetically.

So I decided rather than give you 44 lessons, I would give you ONE lesson (or a conglomerate of the one lesson that has become most valuable to me).

BE YOURSELF FULLY. Own your quirks. Stand in your glory. Love yourself immensely. Shine your light boldly. Worry less about what people think of you. Worry more about what you think of yourself. Be 1% better everyday. Compete with no one.

At 44 I can say unequivocally, that this lesson has shaped me.

I used to live my life in everyone else’s mirror and expectations of me. It was fu***ng awful.

Today I live in the light of the Divine and my own standards. And it’s glorious.

Happy birthday to me. I am proud of the woman I have become. And that is the best birthday gift I could ask for.
