Canada has given me so much to be grateful for.

I arrived here as a little girl with my family, and I still remember the day I became a Canadian citizen as a teenager. It was one of the proudest moments of my life. In fact, I still carry my citizenship card with me to this day. (Swipe to see it!)

Over the years, this country has given me opportunities I could only have dreamed of, lifelong friendships, and the privilege of building a career helping people find a place to call home.

Today is a chance to slow down, spend time with family and friends, and reflect on how fortunate we are to live in such an incredible country. I feel especially grateful to live and work in Toronto's East End, a community filled with wonderful neighbours, thriving local businesses, beautiful parks, and people who truly care about one another.
