i spent so much of my life nervous about approaching this age. this mid-thirties place where everyone is married and having (the cutest!) babies in beautiful homes and the pressure is ON to check off milestones and lean into into society’s pre-set standards of success as determined by age. the fear was always WHAT IF i get there (here) and i don’t have it all?

well, guess what, bb bo?!
WE ARE HERE!
and. we are okay 😊

in the aftermath of the initial pandemic upheaval, i’ve held in my hands the golden truth that is this:

i have lived and achieved each and every one of my childhood dreams. i went after them on my terms, in my own way, on my own time. i sacrificed, i learned big lessons, and i made them mine.

the timing of this pandemic has gifted me - though not without grief, doubt, and immense challenges - an opportunity to dig deeper into what the next stage of living my dreams looks like. my life up to this point is proof it can all come true with focus, determination, community (i love you 💕), and grit.

to baby bo, i’m proud of you.
